Accessibility

CBC strives to be radically inclusive.

We are educating ourselves on ways to become as accessible as possible. Here’s what you can expect of us now in terms of accessibility. We always welcome people helping us better understand specific needs and ways we can better meet them. To share accessibility needs, contact Pastor Robin at robin.anderson.cbc@gmail.com.

Auditory & Visibility Accessibility

  • Each week you can find an electronic copy of the Order of Worship here.

  • Our online service includes closed captioning. We also project all lyrics and communal reading onto screens in the sanctuary.

Mobility Accessibility

  • We have wheelchair accessible entrances at both the front and back of the church on the ground level.

  • In our Fellowship Hall, there is a lift to the 2nd floor, which is where our sanctuary is.

  • We have wheelchair accessible pews throughout the sanctuary.

  • The 2nd floor restroom closest to the lift is wheelchair accessible.

Family Accessibility

  • We have worship activity bags for children available in the church lobby.

  • In the rear of the sanctuary, we have a room where children can easily move and play while parents can still hear the service. We also have a nursery.

Other Accessibility

  • All restrooms on the 2nd floor are gender neutral.

  • We provide name tags which allow people to note their preferred pronouns.

  • When we serve communion, gluten-free wafers are available.
