Children and Youth

Children and youth are an incredibly important part of the church family!

CBC is a warm, loving place where families are embraced and invited to grow in faith by worshiping, learning, and serving together.

CHILDREN

We are a safe place for children to explore God’s world, discover and express their faith, ask questions, and feel loved.

We seek to nurture the spiritual formation of children through Bible Study, mission opportunities, and by including children in our worship services.

Sunday School for school-age children takes place Sunday mornings at 10:00 on the third-floor Children’s Wing.

We have a combined Sunday School class for grade school-aged children. We focus on creative lessons that offer a strong foundation in Bible literacy. We mostly use curricula by Telling God's Story and Illustrated Ministry.

YOUTH

Our youth ministry offers a class that combines middle and high schoolers. The class uses a creative curriculum that encourages questions and integrates faith with real life.

Both the children's and youth ministry also have fun together! In addition to Sunday School, we: have water balloon fights, Easter egg hunts, go snow tubing, see movies, have lock-ins and do all sorts of fun activities together.

To learn more about either the children's or youth ministry, contact Rev. Alyssa Aldape, our Minister of Faith Formation.
